
At the end of May, Angélus was delighted to welcome the famous basketball player Tony Parker, who plays point guard for the San Antonio Spurs and was captain of the French national team. This special occasion was celebrated with a gourmet meal, specially prepared by the chef of the Saint-Emilion restaurant Logis de la Cadène.

Emmanuelle d’Aligny-Fulchi led an Angélus tasting in Madrid for thirty sommeliers from starred restaurants and chaired an Angélus dinner organised by the Commanderie de Bordeaux.

On 21st May, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal officiated at the Angélus dinner of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Washington and was inducted alongside the Ambassador of France as a Chapter member.

Gérald Gabillet ran an Angélus master class in London during the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter.


Château Angélus was presented at the Wine Spectator Grand Tour in Chicago, Las Vegas and Dallas.

Max, Paul and Simon have been friends for 35 years. It has been a joyful, lasting friendship with no issues. While their professional lives have been successful, their private lives have had their ups and downs. One evening the three friends are meeting up to play cards “Chez Max”. Simon looks totally crushed and tells his friends that he has had a row with his wife Estelle and that in a fit of anger, he strangled her. Max and Paul are very alarmed, especially when Simon begs them to give him an alibi, so he can escape a prison sentence. Max and Paul are not sure… Should they lie to the police or betray their friend?

An Angélus master class delivered by Victoire Touton was organised on 23rd April in Boston by the prestigious Harvard University Wine Tasting Club.
Château Angélus closes this primeurs week, which has been a great success with many visitors and lively interest in the 2014 vintage.
